Spitak manushak SE (White Violet)

” White Violet ” is a small social enterprise in the city of Spitak that produces natural vegetable oils. They have obtained extracts from 12 plants in their production: nettle, chamomile, rose, basil, even lilac and dandelion, but they decided to have linden, sea buckthorn and rosehip seed oils as their main products.
” White Violet ” was created by a human rights NGO based in Spitak, which works to protect the rights of women and children. The production staff are women who are beneficiaries of the human rights organization.

DanceAbility Azerbaijan Social Entreprise was founded in 2017. The organisation idea was inspired by the global DanceAbility International movement, the initiative was established to create a space where people with and without disabilities can move, express, and connect through dance. Guided by the belief that “every body can dance,” DanceAbility Azerbaijan promotes inclusion, creativity, and equality through the art of movement.The organization focuses on developing an inclusive society by offering a range of programs such as dance workshops, performances, and teacher training based on the DanceAbility method – an improvisational dance technique that celebrates diversity and body awareness.

Through its activities, DanceAbility Azerbaijan provides opportunities for individuals of all abilities to explore self-expression, communication, and connection.Working with local artists, educators, and community organizations, the initiative uses dance as a tool for social change and empowerment. Its performances often address themes of inclusion, identity, and human connection, bringing visibility to the talents of mixed-ability dancers.

Through public events, school collaborations, and capacity-building projects, DanceAbility Azerbaijan continues to raise awareness about inclusion, accessibility, and the power of art to bridge differences. SIM Social Work School was co-founded in 2021 by Lamiya Rzayeva-Ahmadli, a social work expert . Inspired by her experience in social protection and professional development, the school was established to strengthen the capacity of social workers and promote evidence-based practice in Azerbaijan. Guided by the principle “learning by doing,” SIM Social Work School provides a space where theory meets practice in the service of community well-being.

The initiative focuses on building professional standards for social work, improving the qualifications of practitioners, and creating a supportive learning community. Through a combination of training programs, mentoring sessions, and applied workshops, the school equips participants with practical tools in areas such as case management, social policy, family and child protection, and community engagement.

SIM Social Work School works in close collaboration with universities, NGOs, and government institutions, aligning its work with international social work frameworks and ethics. Its trainers and mentors are leading professionals who guide participants in developing both technical and interpersonal skills essential to social service delivery.


By organizing educational activities, roundtables, and awareness events, the SIM Social Work School contributes to raising the visibility of the social work profession in Azerbaijan.
